VEHICLE LIMITATIONS

  • SUDS recommends that you remove your trailer hitch before entry. Vehicles with a trailer hitch require us to retract our wraps when they come across the back of your vehicle to prevent damage to our equipment and prevent any risk of entanglement on your hitch. By retracting our wraps, we cannot wash the rear of your vehicle as efficiently as possible. 

  • Excessive mud must be removed before the entrance.

  • Truck beds must be empty.

  • PIKEVILLE, ASHLAND, & CORBIN LOCATIONS:

    • HEIGHT CLEARANCE: 7 FOOT 2 INCHES

    • WIDTH: 7 FOOT 2 INCHES

    • GROUND CLEARANCE: 5 INCHES

    • MAX TIRE WIDTH: 12.5 INCHES

  • PAINTSVILLE LOCATION:

    • HEIGHT CLEARANCE: 7 FOOT 2 INCHES

    • WIDTH: 6 FOOT 9 INCHES

    • GROUND CLEARANCE: 5 INCHES

    • MAX TIRE WIDTH: 12.5 INCHES

IN OUR EFFORTS TO PUT THE SAFETY OF YOUR VEHICLE AND OUR EQUIPMENT FIRST, SUDS CAR WASH DOES NOT RECOMMEND YOU WASH WITH US IF YOUR VEHICLE HAS ANY OF THE FOLLOWING FEATURES:

  • Hitch mounted cargo/bike racks or wheelchair lifts.

  • Aftermarket items not factory installed. 

  • Lightbars of any kind (roof or hood-mounted). 

  • Bed-mounted cargo lift on pickup trucks.

  • Lifted or widened tires over 12 inches wide or a total of 7ft 2 inches tall.

  • Roof-mounted kayak or bike mounts.

  • Smokestacks.

  • Be sure to also review the size requirements for each site above.

We're diligent in trying to review each vehicle before entry, you're free to use our lot to remove any of these items that are removable before the entrance. This list was compiled based on items that extrude and pose a danger to our equipment and your vehicle and is consistent with automatic car washes nation-wide.
